چکیده
Hexan-1 I: 6-bi(-trimethylammonium bromide) (C6) has been extensively studied about its pharmacological properties such as ganglionic blockade by Barlow, Ing, (1) (1948), Paton, Zaimis (2) (1951) and Wien, Mason (3) (1951) but less known about the mode of action in the biochemical sense. On the other hand it has been well known that nicotine action is antagonized by C6. The study of the effect of such drugs on enzyme systems in vitro presents ian opportunity to broaden our understanding of the significance of the relation between enzyme `inhibition and

A Triton X-100 extract of electric tissue was subjected to a single step affinity chromatography using either of two affinity gels: [N-(6-aminocaproyl)-p-aminobenzyl]trimethylammonium bromide or methyl[(6-aminocaproyl-6'-aminocaproyl)-3-amino]pyridinium bromide attached to Sepharose 4B. Specific elution of the acetylcholine receptor-I (AcChR-I) with low concentration of a bis-quaternary agonist...
متن کاملOxidative coupling of thiols to disulfides in solution radiation with Trimethylammonium Fluorochromate(VI), [(CH3)3NH[CrO3F], on Silica Gel
A mild and efficient method for the oxidative coupling of thiols by trimethylammonium fluorochromate(TriMFC) in solution is reported. Trimethylammonium fluorochromate is efficient and new reagent, whichprepares easily and oxidizes thiols to the corresponding disulfides quickly. The reactions perform cleanly andcontrolled to stop at the disulfide stage without over-oxidation side products.
متن کاملCapping agent promoted oxidation of gold nanoparticles: cetyl trimethylammonium bromide.
Capping agents, key for nanoparticle stability, may hugely influence chemical behaviour. We show that differently capped gold nanoparticles, with either citrate or cetyl trimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) capping agents, show qualitatively different electron transfer properties. Specifically through cyclic voltammetry and nanoimpact studies the CTAB promoted dissolution of gold nanoparticles is s...
متن کاملThermal Oxidation Times Effect on Structural and Morphological Properties of Molybdenum Oxide Thin Films Grown on Quartz Substrates
Molybdenum oxide (α-MoO)thin films were prepared on quartz and silicon substrates by thermal oxidation of Mo thin films deposited using DC magnetron sputtering method. The influence of thermal oxidation times ranging from 60-240 min on the structural and morphological properties of the preparedfilms was investigated using X-ray diffraction, Atomic force microscopy and Fourier transform infrared...
متن کاملEvaluation of some Biological Properties of Zinc Oxide (ZnO) Nanoparticles synthesized by Green Method using Aqueous Extract of Rubia tinctrom
Introduction: Free radicals are molecules that have unpaired electrons in their last layer. The excessive production of free radicals causes oxidative stress. Oxidative stress thus adversely alters proteins, DNA and oxidation of the membrane phospholipids. Methods: The cytotoxic effects of zinc oxide nanoparticle were evaluated using MTT (3- (4-5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl) -2,5-difenyltetrazolium br...
